We Support Littlemore
Merino Mana is delighted to join forces with Littlemore. We donate $1 from every order to Littlemore and have a recycling rewards program.
Littlemore was established in 2013 by Laura Howard after hearing a passing comment from her midwife about how some babies born at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland were sent home in baby-sized hospital gowns as their families had no clothes for them.
Littlemore’s concept is very simple: pre-loved baby essentials from one person to another, giving baby clothes and basic essential baby items a second life. Littlemore receive, sort and organise these items, packing them into Littlemore bags, so they can be donated on to families with new babies living in poverty and difficult circumstances. Your financial and item donations will help ensure every family has the essential baby items they need to nurture their babies and keep them warm and safe during the critical first year of life.
Merino Mana Recycling Rewards Program
When you and your little one have outgrown your Merino Mana garments we would love to pass them onto Littlemore. If you post your Merino Mana items back to us, we will pass them onto Littlemore and provide you with $10 voucher to Merino Mana as a thank you for helping!

About Merino Mana
Merino Mana was established in 2008 by Mary Hampton. Mary was born in the small South Island town of Rakaia. Mary was taught the art of sewing by her mother Doreen Hampton who was a fantastic seamstress.
Mary had four girls which naturally meant ballet was a big part of the girls’ life, which also meant hours behind the sewing machine. As her children grew up Mary’s love for sewing continued, and as the grandchildren came along Mary started creating merino blankets, wraps and other fabulous items.
Demand for her items grew which led to the creation of www.merinomana.co.nz so that more people could share her beautiful merino items.
We place a strong emphasis on supporting local industries from the photographs of our products to the sourcing of our fabrics. All of the merino fabric is sourced in New Zealand and all merino items are made in New Zealand.
If there are any items that you would like to see on our site that we do not have, please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org as we always welcome new ideas.
